For years, Patti, Travis, and Steve Merkel were living the life they love--a life that includes travel, family, and a restaurant business fueled by their passion for good food that should be enjoyed with good friends. Their Denver, NC, neighborhood restaurant, Sweet Destinations served lunch every day, full-service catering, and travel assistance. In February of 2019, Patti and Steve closed for a couple of weeks to reinvent the restaurant and bring an exciting new concept to the community. Today, they still are living the life they love--only the new restaurant, Latitudes Bar & Grill, now brings craft beer, good wine, spectacular cocktails, big-screen TVs, and live entertainment to their always fresh food, daily specials, full-service catering, and fun, friendly atmosphere.
